About Toni Carnall

Born in Philadelphia, raised in New Jersey and finally retired to North Carolina, life was a jumble of moves and upheaval. In all those times, I was writing about the different phases of life and never stopped. Then reality stepped in, along with family and responsibilities. The urge to write never quite left.

During the years, I was a team leader for the Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Response Teams for seven years in New Jersey. I was a Girl Scout leader, editing their monthly county newsletter. I wrote articles for the local newspaper about the goings on in our town. Having obtained my amateur radio license in 1997, I was editor of several newsletters in various radio clubs. Upon retiring to North Carolina, I taught domestic violence awareness to several classes and groups, keeping up with the editing of newsletters for the radio club.

Storytelling with strong female leads and equally strong male counterparts will always be the mainstay of my stories. Coming from the domestic violence awareness background, the heroine will never be a door mat or walk on eggshells around the male. Always looking for that happy ending.
